We caught up with Player/Manager Paul Turnbull ahead of this afternoon’s fixture against Brocton FC

'“As we prepare for the first game of the season, there's a real sense of excitement around the club. Everyone has worked incredibly hard throughout pre-season, and we're all looking forward to finally getting the campaign underway.

The players have shown a fantastic attitude from the first day of training. They've bought into what we're trying to achieve, worked tirelessly on the training pitch, and continued to improve with every game we've played.

We know the opening fixture will be a tough challenge. Every team starts the season full of optimism and ambition, so we'll need to be at our very best from the first whistle. Our focus is on ourselves—playing with intensity, discipline and confidence, while showing the commitment and togetherness that we want to represent this football club.

It's a long season ahead, and one game won't define our campaign, but we want to make a positive start. The players are ready, the staff are ready, and everyone is eager to get going.
